One of the biggest challenges facing construction companies is keeping welding and grinding sparks off the harness webbing. High tech Kevlar/Nomex harnesses are available but the cost is exorbitant.

QSI brings you the solution: The FR Harness Vest.

The FR Harness Vest is comprised of a 100% FR treated cotton vest with an integrated SBE2KQR full body harness. The vest provides thermal and burn protection to the harness webbing and the wearer, and features several flaps that allow easy access to the dorsal D-Ring and chest loops.

The vest detaches from the harness, allowing either item to be replaced as required, and makes the harness available for inspection.

This combination makes donning the harness easy.

Other features include:

• Self extinguishing fabric, will not catch alight.
• Protection against arcing.
• Adjustable sides for a secure fit.
• Lightweight and easy to wear.
• Handy chest pockets.

Note: Although the FR Harness Vest will not catch alight, large pieces of welding splatter or similar may penetrate the garment if left in contact.
